BrainDTech and BioChiCa, part of the Bio4Dreams ecosystem, have been selected among the 11 entities that proposed the best innovative ideas in the Call4Ideas FVG.

BrainDTech is an innovative SME specialized in precision medicine and the development of diagnostic solutions for neurodegenerative diseases in liquid biopsy. BioChiCa is a startup that develops sustainable bioactive molecules from alternative biomasses for applications in agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, and biomedicine.

The FVG call for innovative ideas in Life Sciences

The Call4Ideas FVG is an initiative by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, promoted by the Life Sciences FVG Cluster to identify and reward each selected startup, spinoff, and SME with €10,000, providing privileged access to the soon-to-be-published Line B, with a total allocation of €3,300,000.

Specifically, the call‘s interest focused on four areas: systems and solutions for health maintenance and care support; innovative biomedical solutions and systems; solutions and systems for innovative therapies; solutions and systems for active & assisted living to support frailty.

The award ceremony at the Urban Center

The two entities are invited on July 1st, to Trieste, at the Urban Center, for the award ceremony.

Thanks to direct access to Line B of funding and collaborative work with small, medium, and large enterprises, innovative startups, spin-offs, universities, research bodies, and healthcare and research facilities based in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, the winning ideas can then be transformed into research and development projects.

The event at the Urban Center will also be an opportunity to learn about the other selected innovative ideas and will be an important networking opportunity.
