    PìFresc™: a freshness-saving label

Agreenet’s proposal is PìFresc™, a biodegradable label the size of a one euro coin, which is placed in fruit and vegetable packaging where it releases natural substances that reduce mold growth. PìFresc™ thus ensures longer freshness for products like citrus, grapes, cherries, strawberries, and berries, reducing the need for harmful chemical treatments.
