has the primacy as manufacturing production value (\u20ac 1,872 M) and ranks second for the number of manufacturing companies of pharmaceutical products and preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Italian biotechnology companies, 80% of which are SMEs, lead innovation with investments of 1.7 billion euros per year in research and development, while the medical devices sector generates exports with an added value of 16.5 billion Euro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The picture shows how <strong>the Italian scenario of innovation in Life Sciences is &#8220;sparkling&#8221;<\/strong>, full of opportunities and potential successful synergies among research and industry players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img Innovation @MIND | Life Science &amp; Healthcare thematic area<\/a>, organizes the workshop \u201c<em>Exploring opportunities in the Italian Landscape of Innovation<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from the main Italian centers of excellence in the field, startups, biotech companies as well as national and international pharma\/life science
