They are part of the <strong>New Approach Methodologies<\/strong> (<strong>NAMs<\/strong>) and aim to make drug development and research more predictive, ethical, and efficient compared to animal models or traditional 2D systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite their significant potential, MPS providers face <strong>important challenges<\/strong>, ranging from making devices widely accessible to the scientific community\u2014both industrial and academic\u2014to achieving broader acceptance by regulatory authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address these and other needs, nine European companies have announced the <strong>creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/iamps.eu\/industry-leaders-announce-worlds-first-microphysiological-systems-industry-association-iamps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IAMPS<\/a><\/strong>, the first industry association dedicated to <strong>representing MPS technology providers<\/strong> and engaging in dialogue with <strong>institutions<\/strong>, <strong>end-users<\/strong>, and <strong>key stakeholders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BiomimX among IAMPS founding members<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/en\/biomimx-mini-organs-drug-testing\/\">BiomimX<\/a> <\/strong>is among <strong>IAMPS\u2019 founding members<\/strong>, and its CEO, <strong>Paola Occhetta<\/strong>,
