Among the finalist startups, <strong>Immunoveg <\/strong>received the <strong>Ennio Ongini Award <\/strong>from Bio4Dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/en\/bio4dreams-partner-bioinvestit-2026-ennio-ongini-award\/\">BioInvestIT<\/a> is an initiative conceived by <strong>Cluster SPRING<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>European Circular Bioeconomy Fund \u2013 ECBF<\/strong>, with the support of <strong>Bio4Dreams<\/strong>, <strong>Terra Next<\/strong>, <strong>LCA (Lega Colucci Associati)<\/strong>, <strong>BioInvest Europe<\/strong>, <strong>Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center<\/strong>, and a network of local partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eight startups <\/strong>reached the <strong>final stage<\/strong> of this edition and presented to an audience of investors, Italian and European venture capital funds, and industry stakeholders: Nasier, EVEBiofactory, Farmech, NOIET, 2Pack, i-Foria, Immunoveg, and Myconic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Immunoveg wins the Ennio Ongini Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year again, Bio4Dreams sponsored the <strong>Ennio Ongini Award<\/strong>, now in its <strong>third edition<\/strong>, dedicated to the memory of a friend and internationally renowned scientist, in order to keep his contribution to scientific research alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award was granted to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.immunoveg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Immunoveg<\/a><\/strong>, a startup developing solutions to <strong>produce plant-based bioactive compounds<\/strong> in a more <strong>sustainable <\/strong>and <strong>predictable <\/strong>way \u2014 ensuring consistent production thanks to tightly controlled environmental conditions \u2014 by using plant cell cultures to move part of the production process from the field to the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The startup originates from research activities carried out at the <strong>University of Naples Federico II <\/strong>and the <strong>National Research Council \u2013 CNR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award consists of one year of membership in the Bio4Dreams ecosystem and an incubation pathway including a range of services with a total value of \u20ac15,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-1024x768.png\" alt=\"Startup \/ Immunoveg \/ Premio Ennio Ongini \/ finale BioInvestIT\" class=\"wp-image-21121\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-100x75.png 100w, https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-918x689.png 918w, https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit-1400x1050.png 1400w, https:\/\/bio4dreams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/immunomeg-premio-ennio-ongini-bioinvestit.png 1448w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Vincenzo Gallo (Bio4Dreams) presents the Ennio Ongini Award to Maria Manuela Rigano (Immunoveg)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cBioInvestIT once again confirms itself as an event capable of generating real connections between innovation and capital.
