These regulate the selective flow of ions and play a fundamental role in controlling the electrical activity of neurons and the transmission of nerve signals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through an integrated approach combining the design and synthesis of new molecules, computational studies, pharmacological and electrophysiological characterization, and validation in preclinical models, the startup aims to identify potential <strong>therapeutic solutions<\/strong> and support their development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its main applications include <strong>drug-resistant epilepsy<\/strong> and, in particular, rare early-onset genetic forms such as <strong>developmental and epileptic encephalopathies<\/strong>. Additional areas of interest include <strong>neuropathic pain<\/strong>, <strong>migraine<\/strong>, and other conditions associated with neuronal hyperexcitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To address these challenges, Keyon Lab brings together expertise in neuropharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and translational research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By joining the Bio4Dreams ecosystem, the startup brings new expertise in neuroscience and drug development to the network. At the same time, the membership will offer Keyon Lab <strong>new opportunities for dialogue and connection<\/strong> with universities, research centers, companies, and investors, fostering
