Bio4Dreams took part as a partner and jury member in the 14th edition of SMARTcup Liguria, the business plan competition promoted by Regione Liguria and managed by FI.L.S.E. (Finanziaria Ligure per lo Sviluppo Economico), supporting the creation and development of new innovative companies in the region.

SMARTcup Liguria 2026

This year, the competition received 72 applications across four areas of innovation: Life Sciences & Med Tech, ICT and Artificial Intelligence, CleanTech & Energy, and Industrial.

Applications were assessed based on the level of innovation, the expertise of the teams, and market potential.

The regional final took place on October 19, 2026, at the FI.L.S.E. BIC Business Incubator in Genova Campi. During the event, the finalist projects were presented and the winners announced. They will have access to incubation opportunities, business support services, and the Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione (PNI).

The 2026 edition will continue on November 30 with the SMARTcup Awards Gala, a ceremony dedicated to the special awards offered by selected competition partners.

Bio4Dreams’ contribution

As a partner of SMARTcup Liguria 2026, Bio4Dreams took part in the jury responsible for evaluating the competing projects.

Representing the incubator were Vincenzo Gallo, Lombardia Ecosystem Manager & Startup Analyst, and Silvia De Cleva, Startup Analyst & Strategic Projects Specialist, who were involved in assessing the applications, with particular attention to the innovative and entrepreneurial potential of the proposals.

Bio4Dreams contributed a perspective focused on the ability of ideas to evolve into concrete entrepreneurial initiatives.

Its involvement in the 2026 edition continues a collaboration with SMARTcup Liguria that began in previous years.
