NanoPhoenix wins the FVG grant and launches NanoFab_Lab
NanoPhoenix has been awarded the “Entrepreneurship Support” grant by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and is launching NanoFab_Lab, a new production site designed to strengthen research and innovation in the Life Sciences.
The innovative startup, incubated and affiliated with Bio4Dreams and specialized in micro- and nanotechnology solutions for healthcare, has secured the maximum contribution available for annual projects under the PR FESR 2021–2027 program. The funding amounts to €60,000 in non-repayable support, against an eligible expenditure of €145,951, co-financed 40% by the European Union (€24,000) and the remainder by the Italian State and the Region.
This achievement, enabling NanoPhoenix to launch NanoFab_Lab, also reflects the support of the Bio4Dreams Grant Office, which assisted the startup in preparing the application and managing the related procedures.
NanoFab_Lab will establish an advanced research and production facility, equipped with an ISO 7 Clean Room and controlled-contamination environments. These infrastructures will expand activities in biosensing, Lab-on-Chip, and cell culture surfaces, addressing the growing demand for customized technological solutions from both academia and industry.
