For the fifth consecutive year, Bio4Dreams renews its partnership with Invitalia to support innovative startups, facilitating their access to funding and promoting the development of high-value-added projects.

Invitalia is the National Development Agency of the Ministry of Economy, promoting economic growth by focusing on strategic sectors for development and employment, with particular attention to the revitalization of crisis areas and Southern Italy. It manages all national incentives to foster the creation of new businesses and innovative startups, particularly in cutting-edge sectors with high value-added. Additionally, it offers support to Public Administrations to accelerate the spending of EU and national funds and to enhance cultural assets.

Through this agreement, Invitalia provides Bio4Dreams with a dedicated team to offer targeted consulting on the latest incentives for businesses. The two entities continue their synergistic collaboration, facilitating access to funding for innovative startups and SMEs in Bio4Dreams’ portfolio, with particular attention to those led by young people and women.

Ambitious Goals, Concrete Results

Over the years, the collaboration between Bio4Dreams and Invitalia has yielded concrete results, such as securing funding for innovative startups and SMEs within our ecosystem through programs like Smart&Start Italia, Smart Money, Fondo Impresa Femminile e Brevetti+. This synergy continues to bear fruit.

Invitalia has participated in identifying startups eligible for sector-specific incentives within the BioInvestIT framework, a forum on the circular bioeconomy that debuted this year, with Bio4Dreams organizing stages in Milan, Trieste, and Bolzano. The Agency also supported ChemiCare, a startup in our portfolio, in participating in the Brevetti+ program, an incentive for the economic valorization of patents promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and managed by Invitalia. Additionally, Invitalia participated in events organized by Bio4Dreams, such as “Exploring Opportunities” and the workshop “Presentation of Support Measures for the Life Sciences Ecosystem FVG,” providing startups with information on available incentives through one-on-one meetings.

Together, Bio4Dreams and Invitalia are making a tangible contribution to the growth of Italy’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, supporting startups that are bringing innovation and value both nationally and internationally.
