The agreement with the University of Palermo aims to turn academic research into innovative entrepreneurial opportunities.

Bio4Dreams has signed a framework agreement with the University of Palermo to promote the transfer of scientific research results into innovative entrepreneurial initiatives.

The University of Palermo, through its Technology Transfer Center, enhances scientific research by transforming it into new business ventures. It promotes technology transfer to companies, facilitates the exchange of knowledge, and supports the search for investors to accelerate the growth of startups.

Thanks to this agreement, Bio4Dreams and the University will collaborate to identify and jointly enhance promising projects arising from the University’s scientific research. Bio4Dreams will provide its scientific, managerial, and financial expertise, along with its national and international network, to support the development of these initiatives and accelerate their market entry.

“We are honored to collaborate with the University of Palermo in a journey that sees Bio4Dreams alongside the university’s researchers and scientists. We will work together to concretely enhance the research results, creating new enterprises capable of growing and bringing value to the territory.”

Elisabetta Borello, Co-Founder, VP Strategy & External Relation, Bio4Dreams

“The promotion of technology transfer is one of the strategic assets that UniPa seeks to further strengthen by encouraging the paths the University has already undertaken in recent years to enhance the design capacity of our research groups. The goal is to provide all the necessary tools to compete at the local, national, and European levels. This agreement represents another piece of the puzzle in building a complex ecosystem, with UniPa’s Technology Transfer Center serving as a bridge between the University and businesses to facilitate knowledge exchange, foster investor connections, and support startup growth.”

Massimo Midiri, Rector of the University of Palermo
