Evotion grows with Momi through tenders, tests, agreements, and crowdfunding

The SME won a 157,000 euro tender, initiated hospital tests for Momi, entered into an agreement with La Molisana, and achieved overfunding.

Evotion, a SME incubated and participated by Bio4Dreams, is finalizing the award of a tender worth 157,000 euros, has started a hospital-based test for Momi, has entered into an agreement with La Molisana for promoting proper nutrition in children, and has achieved overfunding in the fundraising campaign launched this summer.

These are significant results, indicative of the growth and development of the innovative SME and its flagship product, Momi, a smartband that monitors the main vital parameters in infants and children (up to 5 years).

The tender and the supply of Momi for biometric monitoring of children

Called through a consortium by Neuromed, the tender, currently in the finalization phase, involves the supply of services and technological devices for detecting biometric and biomedical parameters and data in children as part of the “Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti-MolisCTE” project. In this context, Evotion will supply the Momi device for monitoring the biometric parameters of children aged 3 to 6 years during physical activities, with the goal of promoting healthy and monitored development.

Momi towards medical device certification

A testing phase for Momi in a hospital setting will start soon to calibrate and optimize the device in collaboration with a team of professionals. This is the first step in the journey to obtain certification for the smartband as a medical device, which will begin in the second half of 2025.

Agreement with La Molisana for proper nutrition

The collaboration between Evotion and the renowned brand La Molisana involves the development of software to help parents educate their children about proper nutrition, contributing to the prevention of childhood obesity.

Overfunding for Evotion’s fundraising

Capping these achievements, the recent crowdfunding campaign initiated by Evotion in July 2024 has exceeded all expectations, reaching 130% of the initial goal.

This success represents a further sign of growing confidence in the company and its device, Momi, demonstrating how the innovative SME is increasingly making its mark in the sector of childhood health technologies.
