Cinque giovani ricercatori italiani che lavorano negli Stati Uniti si sono aggiudicati i prestigiosi ISSNAFAwards 2018.

Il 23 ottobre 2018 nell’ambasciata italiana a Washington si è tenuto l’evento annuale ISSNAF (Italian Scientists and Scholars of North America Foundation), la fondazione che riunisce 4.000 scienziati italiani in Nord America e che quest’anno celebra i primi 10 anni di attività.
In questa occasione si è tenuta anche la premiazione dei 5 vincitori dei premi ISSNAF, tra cui quello per la ricerca in medicina, bioscienze e scienze cognitive, sostenuto da Bio4Dreams insieme a IBM Italia.
La vincitrice del suddetto premio è stata Roberta Zappasodi, grazie al progetto “Identification of non-conventional inhibitory T cells as a biomarker of immune checkpoint blockade”.
